Microfilariae live in the blood, the daily rhythm of access to the peripheral vessels is absent.<\/p>\n<p>The size of the female is 73 \u00d7 0.3 mm, the male 32 mm, microfilaria 173-240 \u00d7 4-5 microns. Microfilariae without cap. Mature filarias are localized under the serous membrane of the peritoneum, in the mesentery, in the body cavities.<\/p>\n<h2>Pathogenesis during Mansonellosis<\/h2>\n<p>The source of the pathogen and the final host &#8211; the person, the intermediate carrier of the pathogen and the host &#8211; biting midges of the genus Culicoides and midge of the genus Simulium.<\/p>\n<h2>Symptoms of Mansonellosis<\/h2>\n<p>Many experts believe this helminth non-pathogenic, but infection with them is accompanied by headache, arthralgia, fever, symptoms of lung lesions, an increase in lymph nodes, hepatomegaly, itching, eosinophilia.<\/p>\n<h2>Diagnosis of Muncellosis<\/h2>\n<p>The diagnosis is made at detection of microfilariae in blood.<\/p>\n<h2>Mannouslosis Treatment<\/h2>\n<p>Effective antiparasitic agents have not yet been found.
